Is GTA 6 on PC?
Not yet. Rockstar’s official GTA VI site lists only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and so does Take-Two’s release list. There is no Steam page, no Rockstar Games Launcher listing and no PC system requirements.
That does not mean it will never come. It means Rockstar is doing what it has done before: consoles first, PC later.
What Take-Two has said about GTA 6 on PC
“The PC platform is becoming more and more important to our company over time.”
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said this at the company’s shareholder meeting in September 2026. It is a positive signal, but it is not an announcement. Take-Two has not given a PC date or even confirmed that a PC version is in development.
When could GTA 6 come to PC?
Look at Rockstar’s last two big games:
| Game | Console release | PC release | Wait |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA 5 | Sep 2013 | Apr 2015 | 19 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | Oct 2018 | Nov 2019 | 13 months |
| GTA 6 | Nov 2026 | Not announced | ? |
If GTA 6 follows the same pattern, a PC version in late 2027 or 2028 would be in line with history. That is our estimate, not something Rockstar has said.
Can I play GTA 6 on PC with cloud gaming?
Nothing official yet. GTA 6 has not been announced for Xbox Cloud Gaming or PlayStation’s cloud streaming. We will update this page if that changes.
